Below, find our regular opportunities to grow in faith! These Christian Formation classes are great ways to become a deeper disciple of Jesus Christ. The menu is always changing so check back often!


Sunday School Classes

Toddlers and Pre-K
For ages 3-4. Meets in the Pre-K room next to the Nursery

Children’s Class
For all elementary aged children. Instruction is interactive and led by volunteer parents

Youth Sunday School
Led weekly by Dana Goshorn, this class features lessons on faith relevant to today’s teen. Meets in the Youth Room.

Young Families Class
A class for those families who have middle school-aged children and younger at home. Meets upstairs down the hall from the Youth Room.

Social Hall Class
A mixed-aged group who love to study scripture in-depth and welcome rigorous intellectual conversation.

Open Door Class
This class follows the Adult Curriculum published by Cokesbury and meets in the Open Door classroom.

Please note that nursery is provided for all Sunday school classes for those children under three years old.


Small Group Opportunities

Burton Small Group
Meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at a rotation selection of homes. Discuss life and a book read together by the group.

A highly intellectual and academically-driven conversation about books to chew on.

Young Families Fellowship
A monthly gathering to simply hang out, let the kids play, and build relationships.

Children and Youth Programming

Holy C.O.W.
An after school program that includes fun, games, and religious instruction. Participation by registration only; transportation from North Dodge Elementary available.

Children’s Morning Out

Youth Group
A weekly meeting of middle and high school students that includes dinner, games, and faith formation.

Children’s Choir
Performs two plays a year, at Christmas and Easter typically. Rehearses weekly

Vacation Bible School
An Eastman First tradition! Every June, 80-90 children gather for learning about Jesus Christ through music, games, and lots of love

Adult Formation Opportunities


United Methodist Men

A monthly gathering of the men of the church of all ages to have fellowship, learn together, and plan service projects. Meets at rotating locations so be sure to contact below to learn more.
Second Thursday of the month, 6pm

Joy Fellowship
A monthly gathering for those who are retired and want to gather for food, fellowship, and to plan service projects, especially through Meals on Wheels.
