I will be preaching a Lenten Series titled, A Jesus Shaped Life, based on the book A Jesus Shaped Life, Forty Days Toward Christ-Likeness. The book is available on Kindle from Amazon or we can order copies from Seedbed, which I am a member of what they call their Farm Team.
God promises to shape us into the image of Jesus. A Jesus-Shaped Life invites you to invest forty days into learning how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit as he transforms you from the inside out.
The First Sunday in Lent is February 26. Call the office to order your copy.
Hydrangeas
To place hydrangeas in the church for Easter in memory or honor of a loved one, pick up one of the order forms in the narthex. Hydrangeas will be $15.00 each and payment (by cash or check) must accompany the order form. The deadline to order is March 12th. No exceptions. Easter lilies will not be available this year.
Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper | Tuesday, February 21 at 6:30PM
Come support our youth as they host a Pancake Supper Fundraiser on Fat Tuesday. The money will help fund their Youth Retreat in July.
Drive Thru Ashes | Wednesday, February 22, 6:00-8:00AM
Pastor Rick will offer imposition of ashes in the Social Hall parking lot.
Ash Wedneday Soup Supper | Wednesday, February 22, 6:00PM
Bring your favorite soup. The church will supply the cornbread, crackers and drinks. There is no charge for this month. So that we can prepare correctly, the deadline to register for supper is 4:00PM on February 16. Please note time change for this month only.

Palm Sunday Service | Sunday, April 2, 10:30AM
Our traditional celebration of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The children of our church will help us by leading a processional waving palm branches.
Holy Thursday | Thursday, April 6, 7:00PM
A service that takes us back to the Upper Room and the events of the evening before Jesus went to the Cross. We will celebrate with scripture readings, hymns, and the Sacrament of Holy Communion which Jesus instituted on that fateful night. The service will end with the stripping of the Altar and all going out into the night in silence as we prepare for the events of Easter Sunday.
Good Friday | Friday, April 7, 12:30PM
A service to remind us of the events of Good Friday as Jesus was condemned to His Cross. This will be a condensed service featuring hymns, the Passion Story, and a short meditation.

Living Cross
On Easter Sunday, remember to bring flowers with you to Sunday School and/or Worship Service to place on the Living Cross. The cross will be available for families to take pictures following the worship service and throughout the afternoon.
