If you didn’t see my earlier message our Conference Disaster Relief Team, in response to the recent storms here in Georgia, is asking for donations of blankets. If you have any donations please bring them by the office and I will deliver them where they need to go.
Leigh Law is scheduled for surgery tomorrow so please keep her and her doctors in your prayers. I will try to keep you updated when I have information to share.
The Memorial Service for John Eckles (Jay’s Dad) is this Saturday at 3:00 pm at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home. There will be a visitation prior to the funeral beginning at 2:00 pm.
We have a special musical guest coming to lead worship on the 29th and we’ll have a covered dish meal in the Social Hall following the service. We will be asking for a love offering to help offset our guest’s expenses for the day.

Sunday – SPRC meeting at 4:00 pm in the Social Hall
Operations Council meeting at 5:00 pm in the Social Hall (agenda and meeting reminder to go out later this week)
On the horizon:
January 25 – Wednesday Night Supper at 6:30 pm in the Social Hall (Last day for reservations is this Thursday the 19th)
January 29 – Special Music leader for our worship service followed by a covered dish meal in the Social Hall
Blood Drive in the parking lot 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
