Interactive Online Worship
Worship videos will continue to be posted via Facebook Premiere each Sunday at 11 a.m. and follow the format and style we have held the last five months. We encourage you to watch the video whenever is best for your schedule. Videos will include new interactive components for your family or small group to engage. Worship is about what we, together, create, not simply something we consume. This new interactivity will enable us to create.
Small Groups/House Churches
Small groups of no more than 25 individuals may form to worship together. Two groups are ready to go and more may be created by emailing the pastor.
Groups function in this way: they watch the worship service together either in the Social Hall at church or in someone’s home or other agreed-upon location. They pray together, taking prayer requests, praying for and with each other. After the sermon has concluded, they take a few minutes to discuss the sermon, furthering their discipleship. Groups meet whenever the group determines is best for them.
Children: Where children are present, the children will dismiss after the children’s sermon to engage in a curriculum designed for them. The church will provide this curriculum and it will be led by a rotation of parents of the group. The curriculum is self-explanatory and easy to use, just like when we did Sunday School and Children’s Church in the past. In this way, we will better provide for religious instruction for our children. Programming for children will follow safe sanctuaries protocols.
If you are interested in leading a group, contact Ted. A group for families with children is now forming! Contact Dee Snyder to be a part of the group and to learn more. The group begins meeting the week of Sunday, September 20.
Youth: The youth group will meet for fellowship and use the worship service as a launching pad for discussion. They will meet in the Social Hall at church 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Contact Leigh Law to learn more.
