We hope you’ll make plans to join together at 11:00 a.m. on our Facebook page for worship. Please note, you do not have to have Facebook to view our page. Simply click the link above to visit the page, whether or not you have an account. This is our opportunity to worship together as a community of faith.
Our worship will come through a video with an interactive option. The video features Dana leading music, Jackson helping with prayers, Leigh doing a children’s moment, a recording of Lisa playing the piano, and Ted leading the liturgy and offering a sermon.
The service will feel familiar in that it follows the liturgy we use at the 8:45 a.m. Arise service:
- Announcements
- Opening Song
- Time of Prayer
- Children’s Moment
- Offering
- Sermon
- Closing Song
- Benediction
During the 11:00 a.m. hour, Ted will be online to interact via comments on Facebook. If you have questions, reactions, or comments during worship, Ted will be there to respond.
This will be a new format with some interaction so that we can feel the presence of being the community of Christ together. We’ll also learn together! This being our first time, we’ll learn how to do it even better for Sunday, March 29.
Note: Sunday, March 29 was scheduled to be our service Sunday. We will not be having that, of course, because the church is closed by order of our bishop. We’ll pick back up with our food boxes on Sunday, May 31, our next scheduled Service Sunday. Please hold any items you donated until that time. If you have written a check or donated toward this program, your donation will go toward that Service Sunday.
Looking forward………………Jan & Phil
