Reasons to be Thankful for Eastman First Methodist

From the benediction at both services on Sunday, March 11, 2018

* For a spiritual renewal that has caused some of us to rededicate our lives to Christ, others to join the church, and still others to engage in justice ministry,
* We give thanks to you, LORD, with our whole heart; we will tell of all your wonderful deeds. (Psalm 9:1, paraphrase)
* For the presence of small groups, whose ministry is facilitating spiritual depth and maturity for many of us
* We give thanks to you, LORD, with our whole heart; we will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
* For an increase in worship attendance, one that has grown by thirty-five percent and has proven sustainable
* We give thanks to you, LORD, with our whole heart; we will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
* For the regular presence of many children in our worship, whose joy and energy renew our spirits
* We give thanks to you, LORD, with our whole heart; we will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
* For the growth numerically and spiritually of our youth group, full of students who testify to your powerful presence in their lives
* We give thanks to you, LORD, with our whole heart; we will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
* For strong lay leadership that enables the administration and ministry of the church, freeing our pastor to focus on pastoral ministry
* We give thanks to you, LORD, with our whole heart; we will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
* For increases in giving that facilitate our ministry as a church and provide stability to our congregation
* We give thanks to you, LORD, with our whole heart; we will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
* For our staff: Lynne, Leigh, Lisa, Cathy, Vesro, and Graton, whose dedication, creativity, and love for you inspires us all
* We give thanks to you, LORD, with our whole heart; we will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
* For all the evidence we have, mentioned here and held in our hearts, that your Holy Spirit is moving in power in our lives and in our church
* We give thanks to you, LORD, with our whole heart; we will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
